Medical Marvel
It just amazes me how we humans have developed and improvised our ways of living, thinking and the achievements we have done in innovating ourselves, its marvelous and incredible…
Today a medical miracle has been revealed -- an Australian teenager “Demi Brennan” is believed to be the first person in the world to completely accept a donated organ to the extent where her immune system entirely changed.
Demi Brennan suffered severe liver damage and had a transplant at the age of nine in 2001. After several months her doctors at the Hospital were shocked to discover her blood type had changed to match the blood type of her deceased male donor. Her blood group has changed from O –ve to O +ve … what an amazing life saving outcome??? Specialists found that stem cells from the donor liver had penetrated her bone marrow, effectively resulting in a naturally-occurring bone marrow transplant… she is the only patient who was able to come off the immunosuppressant drugs which most of the transplant patient have to take for life long so that their body would not reject the new organ…
It is a big puzzle for her and her family and the doctor’s who treated her… now the scientists are working on this miraculous puzzle to improvise it so that by doing will improve treatments and outcomes for other transplant patients.

Its not just Medical Terminology but both Medical and electronic accompanied scientific inventions are playing big role in everyone's life. Brennan is surprising miracle in Medical industry. Change of Blood Types, it is still a surprise to everyone in that industry. With only 66% Survival in the transplantation for 10 Years, Brennan is able to not only Survive the transplantation without the Immunosuppressive drugs but also could overcome all other deformities related to her Bonemarrow disorders. HATS OFF to MEDICAL INDUSTRY.
