Three cheers...
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
~ Lao Tzu
"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. "
~ T. S. Eliot
The following proverb reminds me of the 2 Australian kayakers (James Castrission, 25, and Justin Jones, 24) who padded 3300Km across the tasman sea to New Plymouth on New Zealand’s West Coast, their 62 days of journey in rough seas ended today. The pair are thought to be the first to kayak across the Tasman, and have taken part in the longest two-man kayaking voyage ever. There were fears Jones would be unable to stand because of the deterioration to his leg muscles, which have not touched dry land in two months. No wonder their families, the local kayakers were happy to see them after 2 long months padding in the rough seas..
It just amazes me of their strong determination, their desire to achieve and the tremendous effort they put in to conquer their dream. Way to go guys…Three cheers for you…
